  1. Hey!

I’ve always been a huge music fan, especially Classic Rock. Nevertheless Supernatural did manage to introduce me to a few Rock artists I’d not tried and re introduced me to a few more.

I’d love it if you did a meta on the music of Supernatural and what character and purpose it plays in specific episodes.

I don’t consider myself enough of a music expert and I think it’s an idea that’s too large to funnel it’s way from my head to my hands, so I can’t tackle it, but I’d love to hear other people’s views on it.

    • I’ve always been really interested in the music of SPN, too- from the classic rock cues to that Winchestery theme thing on the cello. Okay then- I’ll try and have that one up inside a week as well!

    • Okay, so I’m currently going through and listing all my favourite musical cues… and there are a LOT… so I’m thinking- I’ll probably do a different essay for the musical cues of each season. That suit you? 🙂

      • That sounds great!

Actually my request is a little unusual. I’ve always hated the song Goodbye Stranger. After that episode where it was related to Castiel, I hate it even more. I read the lyrics, watched the episode again, still hate it. Still can’t figure out why.

Also that song is totally a Destiel song, according to the lyrics.

  2. I’d just like to read someone else’s view about that song. It might help me articulate why I can’t stand it. I haven’t read anyone else’s take on it. I pay a medium amount of attention to music in shows and movies becasue I love music but I’m not expert enough to suss out the meanings between images and sounds.
